PLUM’s Touwa Erio – She is falling out of her clothes!!!

Hello, who is up for a look at the walking mountain of moe that is Erio?

This lovely Erio comes from PLUM, a manufacturer that I can’t say I have more experience with.

I must say it was a hard choice, having to pick between Koto’s and PLUM’s Erio since they both came out on the same month.

In the end I chose this one since I could wait on Koto’s version and get it from a local shop here in the US. Although now there is Ques Q charming take on her as well, I might just end up with three Erio figures by the end of the year.

This figure was based on an official illustration from Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko.

Not exactly a 1 to 1 conversion, there are some slight difference with the positioning of some things.

Now, let’s go over why this figure is so nice.

First of, Erio has a really pretty face, nice clear bright blue eyes, with an adorable expression.

Given the right angle, that same expression can become sexy and alluring!

Erio showcases her round and plump tushie quite nicely which is covered by her cute pink string panties. String panties are at least 50% cuter and/or sexier than regular panties.

Which seem to be a size too small as they reveal quite a bit of “butt cleavage”…

Erio has always had the pretty long legs going on for her. For those people who somehow keep arriving to the blog looking for sexy long legs, here you go.

Ever since exilhero’s Append Miku post, the blog has been getting a few people searching for foot fetish stuff. Good thing that Erio is right up that alley if you ask me.

Although here you can see some of the rough edges the figure has, the toe nails are very badly painted.

Erio always seems to be falling out of her clothes, given the right angles this figure can give you a nice peak.

Alas, every thing that should be covered is, oh Erio you are such a tease <3!

I always loved Erio’s long sparkly hair, quite a everyone goes for the matte look instead like PLUM did. Although Ques Q’s Erio went with translucent hair, wonder how that will turn out.

PLUM did a good enough job with the different strands, so happy it is not just some big clump. The shading on the hair is not bad either, looks decent. although there is some very noticeable seam lines.

The hair has some literal rough edges as can be seen in the bangs and the back of Erio’s hair.

I apparently like Erio quite literally from head to toe, who can’t say no to such cuteness?

I’m also quite fond of her personality and character, I find her very charming. This reminds me of something exilehero said once, I apparently have a thing for socially inept girls like Erio.

Must not forget to mention, Erio comes with a simple pink glossy base.

Erio does not actually attach in any way to the base, so she pretty much relies on balance to stay in place. Reminds me of my old Shana actually, she had a base like this.

Besides the hair the figure does have other rough bits such as the ribbon that has this PVC string thins coming out of it.

Erio also got some black spots on her knees and foot that rests on the floor.

I’m not entirely sure but it seems they were made by simply setting the figure down.

Over all I’m quite pleased with this figure, it captures Erio’s distinctive features and followed the source material well enough.

This figure is listed as the only work so far by the sculptor on MFC. I have no idea if he or she has worked on other things before but the sculpture itself is well made.

All the rough bits are more along the lines of the manufacturing side, so for that I will blame PLUM.

As my first experience with them it is not wholly negative, for such a big scale like 1/6 I would expect more.

Overall I’m willing to buy more figures from PLUM given they do another character I like in a nice alluring pose like they did with Erio.

As always, hope you enjoyed looking at this figure.

  1. Moe Erio is moe, I would have preferred the sparkly hair like in the anime (have to agree with the string panties XD) PLUM seems promising. The re-imaging they did on Erio was great except for the few flaws pointed out. I have high expectations for PLUM’s upcoming 1/7 Alisa

    • She is, like seriously, was driving nuts everyone was taking their sweet time with their figures.

PLUM seems promising indeed, this figure had some mishaps but those things can be addressed with better QC on their next releases.

  2. I was so close to ordering this Erio but glad I held out as I love the Ques Q one. She looks adorable here though and if I had of gone with her I doubt that I’d have regretted it much.

I remember wondering if she was cast off after looking at a photo of the seam line running down her shirt but looking at your photos, it doesn’t actually seem that bad. Not a fan of the whole toes dipped in blue paint look though. Would have preffered them sticking to the original illustration than well.. that, haha.

Gorgeous clear photos.. thank you for all the Erio~!

    • I was a difficult choice spanning months… well hopefully in the upcoming months I can get Koto’s version and see how that turns out. I was actually starting to regret it a bit even more as I took the pictures and noticed the flaws. Then as I wrote the post I remembered why I bought it in the first place.

I have high hopes for Ques Q, I’m just holding off on two of their figures I order to see how they turn out. If all goes well I might just end up with all these Erios :D

Yes, this Erio is such a tease, looks pretty much castable but it is not. The toes thing bother me, would bother me less it was a scale smaller than 1/6th.

Pretty much the only thing I wish was closer to the illustration would be her left hand, I would have liked the greater the distance and longer locks of hair.

Either way awesome Erio, I was more!!!

  3. I have gone head over heels liking her since I saw her months ago. She is just so Moe we can give her the title of “One of the Greatest Moe’s of All Time”. *with matching spectacular sparkles coming from her*

And also, this figure will intensify that feeling for her.

Overall yes, I agree with you. This figure is just that alluring and teasing you to the limit. They did some variations at the positions of some of her parts, and there are some minor flaws, but the pose was all great.

And I couldn’t help but order her as soon as possible!!

  4. AAAHH Erriiiiooooo.

This rendition by PLUM is sooo alluring and sexy and I almost got it but due to it’s 1/6 size, I skipped it as I didn’t have space for it.

After those pictures, I’m kind of glad that I didn’t get it as those rough edges and paint applications would probably drive me mad seeing as how I like perfection in my scaled figures.

Still a tremendous release though, it’s soo soo ero-kawaii. XD

    • YES, oh yes so much.

I been spoiled by GSC and Alter but this is not too bad, half the price those figures go for and at 16th too. It’s not that bad, I find that flaws on figures get blown out of proportion when you are looking through a macro lens. So they don’t look to bad in person.

  5. I’ll have to say, this was one of the better looking Erio figures and still is. I think we can pretty much give up on a GSC or Alter version. When her promo shots came out, the string panties looked really baggy but I’m happy to see that they dont actually look that bad in your photos. Didn’t expect her to be a 1/6 either, nice bonus! I really wish they had included the blush though, it’s part of what makes Erio’s design so pretty and any of Buriki’s characters actually. Thanks for the review!

    • It is, I was disappointed by the previous Erio figures and this one was the first to catch my attention. I wish either of them made an Erio since they could probably pull of the sparkly stuff.

Yeah, I remember being a bit hesitant until I saw the painted version. I agree, I have yet to see someone get the style for the face to reflect the original designs just right.

  6. She looks good, regardless of the flaws. I think the details are quite nice for her size, though I think the bigger figures are the less detailed they get, for some strange reason. I guess it’s appropriate for this pose and all, but I would prefer a figure with her lips showing as well just because that’s one of the parts of her that I always noticed in the anime. I’m liking the added details that weren’t in the original illustration though. Very sexy :D

    • Hmm, yeah I noticed exactly that every now and then with larger figures. I wonder why?

Yeah, none of the figures I seen of Erio so far have managed to reflect that style. I would love to see a figure like that.

  7. After my impression of PLUM’s Astraea I expected this Erio to be as flawless as the Angeloid.

Well, but overall this Erio looks like a nice figure, especially her face is well done. I also like the gradient paint of her hair. sculpting seems to be very good as well, I mean she looks very alluring with her body and attire and these panties are the best ^^

To me Erio is not someone who cares about being fashionable and having painted nails, therefore I don’t really like the blue colors there. They are somehow contradictory to her natural and worldly innocent personality.

    • Almost flawless, I can turn a blind eye anyways. The flaws are small and only noticeable is you are really looking for them.

Awesome Erio none the less, really nice alluring pose putting Erio’s assets in display.

I do not remember if she had manicured nails or not, she might have had in the anime. Not so sure, otherwise I see no reason for PLUM to have painted them since the illustration does not have them.

  8. Great figure and great photos! I like how they reproduced quite closely the illustration and how the figure closely resemble the “feeling” behind Erio.

And yes, she has the same coloring of the nails in the anime as well. :)

    • Yes, I want more Erio like figures like this one. Ques Q’s version seems to be going that route for me. With Erio I find that getting the right feeling is important rather than just making a pretty figure.

  9. I told myself that I’d limit myself to one Erio figure, but that’s proving to be torturous. PLUM’s Erio was my top pick for a while, but when I saw Ques Q’s Erio, I had to choose between the two. Earlier this week I finally decided to go with Ques Q.

Now you’ve got me wondering whether I should just find a PLUM Erio too, she looks soooo cute. Oh, the agony!

    • Yes, that was my dilemma for months between the Koto and PLUM versions. I will probably end up getting the Ques Q one too.

I regretted getting this one a bit at first but now I’m so glad I did. All things considered I’m quite happy with this rendition of Erio.

  10. OMG so seductive. the dilemma from that wanting to hug her to death… ^^

great adaptation my good isnt she just cUTE!

*goes and watch the ED of denpa*
